Embrace your inner Disney Princess!

Hello my lovely blogging friends!

(a special hello to all of you ladies, and gentlemen tuning in from all around the world -I've had some hits from some amazing countries!!)

I have something to confess: so early on in this blogging world I was unfortunately being harassed via an Anon commenter - It seemed every post I made could not please this little troll! Apparently my massive weight gain obstructed her viewing my lovely blog!

Being confident and comfortable with my good looks - it didn't phase me. However I was curious as to why a complete stranger felt the need to tell me I was morbidly obese and hideously unattractive!! I've kept this blog very private - only people who know me would be able to find it and know who I was, so I was evil eyeing quite a few on my facebook friends list, trying to work out who it was! (sorry lovelies)

Long story short, if some of you were readers from the beginning, I posted a small rant on my dislike for women contacting my boyfriend (or any male/female for that matter) whilst they're in my company. I was obviously feeling starved of attention and slightly jealous - so I wrote a (hilarious!) post about my frustration. I may have mentioned this young ladies name thinking this was totally private, and turned it into an amusing pun... and then wrote something about her being culturally confused... but the point is!: I deleted that post, because I felt bad - she was no one to me, and I was being irrational... OR WAS I?

I must say, miss trollface has some exceptional lurking skills! How on earth did she find me, must give her kudos for that!

From then on in, every, single, post, ever - was commented on by this little troll. Sometimes even photo shopped photos of myself were posted, with links 4chan etc- I mean thankyou for taking time and effort out of your day, and spending so much time on little ol' me, I'm sincerely flatted really! However after a small slip up on her part, I was able to google "excalibur noir" - as the comment was not on private, and hello hello! Third hit, miss troll face herself - mutual friends with my boyfriend, and fitting the perfect description of the comment's owner.

At first I was rather annoyed - then amused, some of her comments were quite hilarious! However I don't stand for bullying - it's too high school. People's lives are a million times more stressful out of school, and bullying, whether it be via keyboard warriors on blogs, or in the flesh I will not stand for it.

I live by my own saying - being "embrace the Disney princess within". You've probably noticed that I am a Disney fiend! One of those girls who will see a Disney branded dish cloth and think "omg what is this? I need this! I've got to have this Disney princess dish cloth to match my Disney princess cutlery" - It's sad.

But whenever I have the need to scream/yell/punch/ etc at someone - I take a minute and think, what would Mulan do? Or Belle? Or Auora?

These cartoon characters have a lot to teach us! Patience, kindness, and love! (gosh this got sappy fast - but it's true). Maybe give it a go sometime :)

OR... if Disney Princesses aren't your thing, try Dolly Parton (Aunt Dolly) - that woman is sparkly loveliness personified!

Apologies for the long rant - but I needed to get it off my chest! Looking forward to more blogging fun in the future!

Bisous! xxxxxxx

ps. (amusing side note - miss troll has no picture's of herself on facebook - I think I'd rather be fat than too ugly to show my face on my own facebook! I mean, disney princess, disney princess, disney princess...)

  1. Girls should stick together!

It's sad you have had to deal with someone insecure who brings down others down to compensate for their miserable life!

Good luck with your blog! :)
